About Us
We are Doug Haus. A small independent business based in Greater Manchester specialising in stylish accessories for your four legged friends, without compromising on strength and quality.
We had the idea to start this business when we got our first dog, Douglas. He is a beautiful silver Weimaraner that keeps us on our toes! We both work 9-5 jobs and decided we wanted to be able to spend more quality time with Doug, but at first, we didn't realise we were both thinking the same thing - let's start a business!
It was decided almost immediately that the business would be something to do with dogs, so we could use it to Doug's advantage. We'd been looking to get Doug a harness and had difficulty finding one that was strong enough for a Weimaraner (if you know you know!) which didn't look so industrial. We wanted our pooch to look good, but know that he was secure in what we chose. THE PENNY DROPPED, and here we are today!
